Your Privacy is important to us...

 

To better protect your privacy, The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary, provides this notice explaining our online information practices. To make this notice easy to find, a link to it is available on all pages, and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

We respect and adhere to Canada’s Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIP), and collect and use information throughout our website only as disclosed below.

 

Personally Identifiable Information

At present, The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary only collects: Your name, Your email address, A Subject line, and your message when you choose to use our online Contact Form. No other personally identifiable information is collected. Further, we will not rent, sell or exchange your name (...or any other personally-identifiable information), to any third-party, for any purpose, unless we seek your express consent, or are required by law to do so.

The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary does collect non-personally identifiable information to better understand how our website is being used. Information about your visit is logged, however your IP address is never referenced to personally identifiable information, and the Usage statistics are gathered in a non-intrusive manner. Our log files are private documents, and are primarily used by the server administrator for error notification, server administration and to monitor website performance. Occasionally however, portions of the log files may be viewed by others for the purpose of server administration, security or when required by law.

When you visit our website, small text files known as “cookies” may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. We customize certain Web page content based on your browser-type or other information provided by our cookie. The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary does not use cookies to retrieve personal information about you, from your computer.

The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary sometimes provides links to other organizations’ websites. Unless we expressly say otherwise, a link to another website does not mean that we are responsible for, or endorse the content or policy of that website. Should you provide any personally-identifiable information at one of those sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of that respective site. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age, except as outlined above.

The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary, will adhere to best industry practices and standards, and will use all reasonable means necessary to maintain the Security of all Client information, with no fewer measures than it employs for the protection of its own Confidential data.

The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary, may deem it necessary or appropriate from time to time, to modify this privacy policy to reflect changes in the way we collect or use information, or to reflect changes in privacy-related laws, regulations, or industry standards. Accordingly, The Peoples Table Tennis Club of Calgary reserves the right to change this privacy statement at any time by posting the revised policy on this page. Information will be handled according to the privacy statement in effect at the time the information is used. If we make any significant change to this policy, we will provide notice of the change on this webpage.
